“Pirates and Princesses Party” at the “Taste of Florida” Welcome Reception*

Sunday, June 22
7:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Join our very own live Pirate and Princess at the Gaylord Palms Resort’s own Castillo de San Marcos for a fun evening of dress up, princess mini-makeovers, sword fighting, tattoos and more. Kids are encouraged to come dressed as their favorite pirate or princess!

This event will be supervised by La Petite Academy child care providers and takes place within the hotel’s atrium, located along with the overall Taste of Florida Welcome Reception itself.

Youth “Soil and Science” Program*
Monday, June 23
7:30 AM - 3:00 PM
Sponsored by Peterson Genetics, Inc.

The La Petite Academy’s “Kids Station,” on property at the Gaylord Palms Resort, will be hosting a day of “Dig It!” fun for children, ages 3-14. Seeds, soil, plants and dirt—young botanists will dig it all as they plant a new friend and learn how plants live, grow and help us all. We will have a visit from our friends from Gatorland Zoo; they will bring live Florida reptiles and celebrate nature with stories and trivia games. And tasty treats—DIRT DESSERT and NATURAL FLORIDA ORANGE SMOOTHIES! Ants, bees and mosquitoes are cordially invited to attend!

Nintendo Wii and Pizza Party*
Tuesday, June 24
6:15 PM - 9:30 PM

“Kids Station” will be setup right next to the Gala Banquet to hold a “Nintendo Wii ~ Pizza Party!” We will host fun crafts and activities for kids ages 3-14; with free play time as well. Don’t forget the Wii playing fun…sure to be a big hit!! The party will include pizza for dinner and decorate-your-own cookies for dessert. At 9:30 pm, children will be brought next door to the Gala Banquet to join their parents to dance the night away with “Party on the Moon!”

“Nanny” services available:
