Bell Pepper Phytophthora Blight Resistance Variety Trial Results in New Jersey, 2021

Rutgers has screened bell pepper cultivars for Phytophthora capsici at its Agricultural Research and Extension Center since at least 1995, in naturally infected field plots rather than under inoculation. The 2021 report is candid about the season it got: blight pressure was very low, and the report says so before presenting its numbers, which is what makes those numbers usable rather than misleading.
