Kansas State University

Kansas's land-grant university. Its Research and Extension service publishes the annual Kansas Wheat Variety Guide, which supplies AMSeed's wheat disease ratings, and its wheat breeding programmes, including the Agricultural Research Center at Hays, release varieties through the Kansas Agricultural Experiment Station that the Kansas Wheat Alliance commercialises. Because it both rates and breeds, its ratings of its own releases are labelled as the breeder's, not as independent.
